May your days be filled with peace …
One of my Christmas traditions is to share a song with you. I’ve always loved “It Came Upon a Midnight Clear” but didn’t realize how special and timely it was until I read a bit more about it on wiki.
“When peace shall over all the earth
Its ancient splendors fling,
And the whole world give back the song
Which now the angels sing.”
What a beautiful image! As for now, every time we sing or create something beautiful together, we get closer to being in harmony with the angels’ song.
Who are those guys singing with me?
Short story: It’s been almost two months since I have moved into my new film office in San Francisco. It’s been amazing and productive and fun. Aside from having my own space to create, I’ve been making some wonderful (and highly spontaneous) filmmaker friends. Dan Danman (behind the camera) and Chris Thomas (playing bass in the video) are my office neighbors across the hall and they’re working on a great feature comedy. (Check them out at www.potluckproductions.net) Jon Tyler, I just met and all I know so far are his ukulele playing, his great singing and his sunny disposition. Looking forward to making more music with them.
Wishing you and yours a beautiful and love-filled Christmas and New Year. Write back when you can.
PS. I finished the short film/ad for the French circus. If you’d like to watch it it’s here: https://vimeo.com/ingridserbanfilms/stolen-moonlight
